Objective: To explore the curative effect of Xiancao Xiaoyou Recipe with warm soaking in the treatment of multiple palmoplantar warts in children. Methods: A total of 108 pediatric patients with multiple palmoplantar warts who were treated in Shanghai Children's Hospital from October 2021 to September 2022 were included and divided into a treatment group (n=54) and a control group (n=54). The patients were treated with Xiancao Xiaoyoufang warm soaking method, and the control group was treated with liquid nitrogen freezing method for 4 months and 8 courses of treatment. Observe and analyze the general information of the patients, the overall condition and clinical efficacy before treatment and after the end of all courses of treatment. Results: After treatment, the thickness of the target skin lesion, the degree of pain and the total effective score in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The markedly effective rate (14.8%) and cure rate (74.1%) in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group (1.9% and 66.7%) , the total effective rate (100%) was higher than that in the control group (87 .0%) , and the average curative effect index was significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The traditional Chinese medicine Xiancao Xiaoyou Recipe is better than liquid nitrogen freezing in the treatment of multiple palmoplantar warts in children, and the treatment is simple and safe, and has strong clinical promotion value.
